Hi, there are a few on you tube . I have not built one myself but have put a 350 ypvs lump in a TZR 250 2ma chassis. Good luck with your project .

I was thinking of putting a 421 motor into the Nikko Bakker Laverda frame. That would be sublime. Like minus the donkey aircooled motor in the earlier models.

Have you thought about putting one in a delta box such as 3mA/4DL or in small FZR ?

They go nicely into 1Kt and 2MA deltaboxes too.

The thought was it might be more fun than its current engine ,a Honda NX650 Dominator motor, I only bought this last week on eBay for the front and rear ends but it's in really good condition so I may have to think about it for a while.

How about refitting an RGV250 engine, & contacting Colin Skillicorn (Facebook) As he's made a 350cc bigbore kit for the RGV250 motor.
Hope this helps Best regards

I was thinking of putting a 421 motor into the Nikko Bakker Laverda frame. That would be sublime. Like minus the donkey aircooled motor in the earlier models. That is gorgeous i would keep it as it is. I know a Dutch man who is always buying Laverda parts from the UK

I've fitted a 350 ypvs motor into Phil Swiv's Lump Hammer Rgv .
Got a Tyga seat unit for it and will be looking in to fitted a Vj22 Tyga fairing.
Motor fits nice. I cut and shut the original cradle. Now it's done, I know it can be better. So going to make a new cradle.
Will post some pictures up from my phone. Photobucket has fekked it up for me

Like minus the donkey aircooled motor in the earlier models. now that is a sweet looking bike, I like that a lot, keep it as is, would be a shame to change something as unique as that (even if it is a 4 stroke!)

I have been pondering an LC motor in a YZF125R chassis. It’s Yam, looks modern and must handle better than a 30+ year old bike. Although I’m sure someone has already done it!.
