If your wheel has cush drives then I'm pretty sure its a 350 wheel. Once you get the brake plate off they should fall out. I had a problem removing my brake plate so had to gently prize it off with screw drivers.

350 wheel has a seperate sprocket carrier with conventional rubber cush drives in the wheel. 250 sprocket bolts directly to studs on the wheel that have rubber bushes on them. Not sure how the 250 ones come out though, I imagine some sort of puller may be needed.
Out of curiosity, why do you need to remove them?

The one time I've done this i had to chain drill enough of the rubber out that i could then collapse the surrounding metal shell in enough to get a purchase with molegrips. They are a complete b*****d to remove. I couldn't find a puller that would work but it's definitely worth a try. Good luck.

Maybe it's just to replace with new but if the rubber is old/disintegrating, surely it would fall out??

IF I were faced with a 250 wheel that had obviously shot Bushes (wiggly studs) on the sprocket mountings. I'd look around for a decent condition used wheel.

Your not wrong there Bare. when i was younger i had to remove bushes on large trailers. i was going to do the same to a 250 wheel then all the bad memories came back of burning rubber bushes and trying to get the outer sleeve out what ever way necessary. Luckily i had a few other wheel, this one is now last resort wheel.
