I’ve read about this before but I don’t remember the answer. when I first start my bike (ypvs engine)I warm it up but when I put it in gear it jumps forward and stalls because the clutch doesn’t work ,it only happens once after that it’s fine it’s like the plates are stuck together. So before I drive it I have to put it in gear pull the clutch in and bump the bike back and forth a couple of times then it frees off, the clutch plates and springs are about a 1000 Miles old the plates are Norbo’s race plates the springs are standard it’s started doing this about 500 Miles ago .so I took off the casing today with the clutch stuck ,when I pull the clutch the pressure plate separates and you can move the plates with your finger so what’s wrong?

Sounds similar to what I've experienced, the clutch just isn't disengaging 100%, nasty clunk and the engine will stall unless revs are kept high. New clutch and cable fitted, no amount of adjustment will cure it but there is a biting point at the end of the day.
Bump starting bike is difficult to do, hard to push bike even with clutch lever pulled right in.

You could not bump mine I just rock it back and forward until it disengages then it’s fine until the next day it’s like the oil dries out between the plates and the stick together

It seems you have to disassemble your clutch further. Maybe you have a deep groove on your basket a damaged plate or something broken that you can’t just see. Loose centre nut... who knows, dirty oil or incorrect oil??

Had this on a few of my bikes over the years. Especially my track bike. Could be gearbox oil, viscosity thicker this time of year,I use silkooene light gear oil. Could be badly adjusted clutch Could be pattern cable, most are junk and should be thrown in the bin(even if they feel perfectly smooth when not on bike) I would tend to put it down to bike standing to long between use. My commuter bike when used everyday is perfect,if I don't use it for a couple of weeks it does the same(stalls or jumps forward when put in gear) I think most older bikes do it. If it fine once warm I wouldn't worry about it

I’m using a gen cable light gear oil,it happens if you leave it one day it’s only started since I fitted new clutch plates ,I’ve no clutch slip or drag it just sticks overnight,I’ll take it apart and have a look

I'm using a brand new genuine cable too, not sure which gear oil is currently in it, will change that next.
Incidentally, finding neutral whilst out on the road is fine until the engine/oil warms up, then it prefers to jump into first or second gear.

Could be worse
My tsx used to lock solid.
You had to bump it then crash up the gears then keep rolling on and off till it broke
I reckon it's suction from the oil and the plates cooling and shrinking

Norbo's race plates have a bigger surface area do they not? Pretty sure I read that somewhere, could that be a factor (I know others have fitted R6 plates which are definitely bigger with no issues)
