Mad Biker Designs annual summer social for 2 stroke motorcycles of all makes and models is once again to be held at Brands Hatch over the weekend of 7th/ 8th July 2018. It will run as part of the BMCRC meeting on the GP circuit. Free admission will be available to people wanting to display their bikes (1 ticket per bike). Due to the popularity of the event last year, and the fact we are running out of space, we are limiting the tickets to 50 this year. Please only put your name down if you intend to come as we dont want to leave others disappointed. For those wanting track time, BMCRC are planning to run parades on both days. Please see Facebook event page for more details www.facebook.com/events/295073614335984/

Hi Martin,
Ok, put me down, I've checked my diary and its clear, so I've pencilled it in, will bring something, not sure what yet, but I have a few to choose from, is there somewhere to camp (read kip in my van !!) or some local cheap flea bitten hotel close by you can recommend?
Let me know
Dave

Hi Yea, I agree Al, a great day again. Great hospitality, as ever, from Martin and his family Good to meet up with you again, and Yogi and his mate Dave. Nice to meet Jon for the first time too, and great to catch up with Mutts, who must win the furthest distance travelled - all the way from Yorkshire, and sleeping in the back of his van which had been in the roasting sun all day !! Mutts and Yogi getting their bikes noise tested was great - the 2 guys with the noise meter looked horrified - especially with Yogi's which hit 115db !! We enjoyed it though Great racing too - hero for me was the guy with 1 arm racing round like his life depended on it - 12 laps in the searing heat !! and at least 5 riders finished behind him !! Awesome. Mouse was great company as always - so pleased he drove - aircon is something my van doesn't have and how we needed that on the way home. I don't know how hot it was at Brands yesterday, but I have never seen so much sun cream being applied by hairy arsed, grown up biker guys !! A great day out. Thanks all Dusty

Yeah agree, a great day.
Thanks for the ticket Martin.
Great to put a name to a face with you Dusty and Mouse.
Wanted to see YPM and wasn’t dissapointed with the swarm of angry bees going round the track.
As Dusty says, hats off to the guy with one arm racing 1000cc? I bet the riders that came after him weren’t best pleased with their performance. I’m not sure I’d even attempt to ride a bike with one arm? Let alone enter a race!
Jon

yes, great to see you all, was a good day, bleeding hot though, unfortunately my dad was taken ill yesterday afternoon, so back in hospital, so had to make the trek back home last night, suspect today will be better attended now that the footy is out of the way, would have been good to be there today, but family first
catch you all later

Thanks Jessy.
Wow there are some nice bike there, I definitely missed another fun weekend.
I like the Fondesca bikes, are they real TZ's or TZR's?
The drag bike looks also menacing.
Every time i see Yogi's bike i have a little smile. This is because i am building a track bike and and the company building the chassis showed me a picture of Yogi's bike to try and talk me out of two pipes exiting one side. They were surprised when i told them i knew who built it.
