I'm having a few problems with the throttle grip twisting round on the plastic sleeve on my LC. I've tried gluing it with High strength Evo-stik but the problem is when you slide it on the glue pushes up to the end resulting in just the first 20mm or so sticking the remainder of the grip still twists round which is very annoying. I've though about replacing the grip but want to keep it if possible as it's the original. Any Ideas would be appreciated. cheers.

Grip glue or hair spray.

As OEB says hairspray has always worked for me over the years.

And don't put the glue on the throttle tube, as the the grip will just push it all up into a mess at the switch gear end.
Make sure the throttle tube and inside of the grip are perfectly clean and put the glue/spray on the inside of the grip.
Like Oldelsieboy, I usually spray hairspray around the inside the grip, slide it on, give it a twist to distribute the adhesive, then leave it 24hrs

Yes I did think that, I've now got some Renthal grip glue and will probably get some new grips as well. Thanks for the advise.

New grips fitted and very pleased with the result.. grip glue used and I heated them up with a heat gun as they were very stiff. Thanks to all for the tips. and a happy new year of LC riding.
