Hi Guys, looking for some advice, my latest project is a 250e rolling chassis that I have bought from a forum member that I am turning into a race bike.... I need a bit of info in respect of rear sets... what fits and will work without too much modification, and feel comfortable for a 5ft 10 guy , the bike is currently fitted with a race seat....I have seen the Raask ones, but to be fair, thought they may be OK on a road bike, but maybe not a race bike.....just looking to see what all you race Guys are using... all advice welcome.
cheers
Gav

I've made 2 RD250 race bikes in the past. On both occasions I used Kawasaki ZXR400 foot rests. You need to make one small bracket for each side, including one to hold the brake fluid cylinder, but they worked a treat.

Hi Alex
Thanks for the info, I have been looking at several options, but most are as you suggest, a small bracket required....which is not a problem... someone has also suggested that a Honda RC24 footrests bolt straight on, so just trying to get someone to measure some for me...but I think the easiest solution will be some simple brackets...thanks for the reply, I will have a look at them...

Just recalled another reason I used the ZXR ones. The rear brake cylinder is incorporated into the foot rest itself so saves on more bracket making/hole drilling!
