This is looking great Mr K, You're like a whirling dervish once you get started! (I'm a bit confused as to which build is which, but i am a bit simple!) Mouse G,day Mouse , this be me used to be Fighter , turning into road come track day bike ( body permitting ) other build will end up similar too how this one started.. Really tempted too bung in full Nova box as Brands n Cadwell dates are rapidly approaching an me thumbs are twiddling with anticipation... (rofl) Also Picked up another set of waterpump gears these are 1.45 ratio Std Yam is 1.6 these will allow the pump too spin faster , should help keep the engine cooler , not sure where there going yet...

Overhauled a Half nova gearbox today refitted the gears with new circlips ( courtesy of Norbs Magical Emporium ) Sorted out rest of components ready for a bottom end re-build .Gonna be using the Nova Straight Cuts with the Barnett basket also.. Upping the CC on this one , I,ll let it unravel as I build it n document it..

Righty then just paid for the remaining parts for me new top end being sent express delivery (so I,m told ) looking forward too this now , means I can par down the wiring a bit an get the remainder re-attached as I got a direction too head in , still need inlets .H/D clutch n exhausts but were getting somewhere now... The new barrels and pistons on page one are not being used on this build anymore ,still rebuilding the original TZ,d lump as a back up plan, I,ll crack on with the race bodywork now get it drilled an any excess removed...Might need too rename the thread again ..Gonna eat a special bar of Choccy as time is running out an I need too get a move on !!!

What is the BDK box for, as I thought the Zeel would do everything you need (ignition/powervalves/rev limiter etc)?

Post by Mr Kipling on Apr 6, 2018 18:41:11 GMT 1
Bdk box controls the voltage supply from the P/Fab rotor to the battery..

Hello Mr K, what type of throttle do you use with the PJ's

Hello Mr K, what type of throttle do you use with the PJ's on these carbs I use a one off single pull conversion set up..
Post by Tobyjugs on Apr 7, 2018 21:52:09 GMT 1
Does that mean both carbs are mechanically linked?
Post by Mr Kipling on Apr 7, 2018 22:07:35 GMT 1
yeah n nah , there both connected by short cables too a pivoting cantilever plate system which I connected to my carb tops which is then pulled by a single venhill cable , so not mechanically linked as such but very different n effective ...
Post by Tobyjugs on Apr 7, 2018 22:12:03 GMT 1
I was thinking of a twin pull from the throttle for my PJ's
