I see there are some on eBay. I know there is a 250LC for sale by the name of Blackhorse bless, or something like, at Boston in Lincs. He had a 350 on there last week and he is clearly a dealer. I got some good advice from chaps on this forum.
If you copy and paste any potential bike you like the look of you will get sound advice.
Also there are some on car and classic, but again traders.
I know it does not probably answer your question, but hope it helps a bit

Cheers Penno, I'm looking for road race oriented one really, I have had quite a few 2t's and have played with nitro rd350lc 2t's. Dealers have been bringing them in for a while and tbh would prefer a UK model if poss...prices are a bit EEEEEKK! as i used to buy them for £500-£1k in the 80's...crazy money but that's also inflation to  . I'm in no rush tbh and have the money to buy top end pristine if required. Even though a project would do, like I stated, want a bit of a toy to play on rather than a minter that will only get abused. |

Track days your thing then? Are you looking to build a hybrid from Yamaha base? Wish I had the engineering skills. I only joined the forum last wed as I am in the market for a 1981 1982 350LC but due lack of skills in mechanics I am after a minter. I would love the interest and challenge of getting a bike in need of restoration. Yes, I am confident I could strip it down and send the parts away, but putting it back together in the right order, may just spoil a good project.

Well a least you know your limits, plenty of people would attempt and then pay through the nose to get someone to sort the mistakes. Have a look here at some of me projects www.facebook.com/DastardlyRacing/ . I ride a supermoto for fun and have a few little cagiva's but miss the proper tuned 2t pull once the band kicks in. Dnt get me wrong the ktm pulls your arms and goes vertical in most gears however its not the same as a proper file tuned 2t engine. Love the LC and want me old one back reg ROP 83Y but not much chance of that, also air cooled go well with a decent bit of port mapping and exhaust matching lol. |
