They only block the 3rd party hosting
Nothing to stop you logging in, down loading them onto a pc then uploading them to another pic site

Don't forget to delete your account afterwards so the dwindling number of accounts makes them go bust.

Have Photobucket removed the option to download albums ?.
Wouldn't surprise me if they've realised they've made it too easy for everyone to get their pictures off.
If I look at any of my albums, I don't get that option.

If I look at any of my albums, I don't get that option. Don't think they can legally do that as they do not own the rights to the pictures They are only supposed to be allowing you to store them Steve

Can anyone check if that option's gone or it's just me ?.
Even if I select just one photo, the options pop up but nothing to download, just move about within Photobucket !.
Not the end of the world for me, as every singe picture I have on there I have uploaded from my PC, just woulda been nice just to group them.
If the option's gone, I'll just delete my account

Up until a few minutes ago I haven't been on Photobucket for a good few months but it is just the same as it was .. pop-up adverts when you sign in and viewing each album or pic takes forever. It really is shite.

Yeah I'm using Flikr, as it's part of Yahoo and I didn't even need to register.
How long before they start trying to charge ?.

Looey, The only way I've found of downloading from Photof**kers to my computer is to click on the pic you want so it shows up as a big picture, then right click and "save as". It's gonna take forever if you have lots to grab back Dusty

The download album option has now disappeared however you can still download individual images. The option to simply click on the IMG url for third party hosting has also gone and you now have to verify via an email every time you upload. Fortunately I can still use third party hosting for now but its only a matter of time as I keep getting emails and pop ups reminding me of their generous offer to sign up.........

Love to know how their decision to ban third party hosting has affected their business plan, I also keep getting mails asking me to sign up again .......no ducking chance, they killed the internet.

I guess getting $500 from all the businesses that were forced to pay it, that was worth screwing millions of people around the world for Would serve em right if it backfired and they went under as a result I certainly won't be going on thee again, w*nkers

They've cottoned on people we're downloading their images and migrating so are making it difficult for people IMO.
The sooner everyone deletes their accounts the better. Leaving them dormant still makes it look like their is an audience for investors to pay for advertising on there.
If they have no accounts then they will get no revenue from advertisers and go bust.

Spent the afternoon dragging out the pics from one of my accounts - 37 pages worth !! Got to start on the other account now - over 1400 pics in that one I don't know how, but not all my pics are on my computer, hence I'm having to trawl through Photof**kups to pull out the missing pics. It's gonna be a long night ! Dusty

Luckily for me, I only ever uploaded pics onto Photof*ckup that I already had saved onto my PC Once a month I backup my phone and camera to my PC, then backup my PC to an external drive. As they say........., your data is only as good as your last backup !

All my pics were on my PC, but I had trouble with "the cloud" !! and lost some pics somewhere, plus my old laptop failed catastrophically, and I think I lost some then, but some of them are on my oldest Photomotherf**kers account, so I'm having to go through them all, which is mind numbing !! Dusty
