So im about to start my first hybrid project( or first project ever). Its totally standard at the minute an have rode it about 150mile but bought it with this in mind. So plan is ive got some street triple forks Rgv yokes and thats it. So i think im going to go with rgv wheels and banana arm. Street triple brakes. Renthal bars an thats as far as i know yet. Im not going to touch anything else yet as plan to go classic tt on it next year. Then after that if its how i want it ill strip it to redo frame an tidy up motor. Hope these pics work flic.kr/p/YPqA4Vflic.kr/p/Z32q1k

So progress is slow but gettin there slowly Swingarm in wheels to a fashion. Had to have bearings made for front wheel an need sprocket carrier machining for rear. Bandit wheels were a cheap option but they look like they will work.

No mk1 bandit wheels but the carrier is too wide at moment so gettin that sorted then onto brakes but not sure what to use on rear yet

These bandit wheels definitely are putting up a fight. I had a friend machine 12mm off the sprocket carrier on the face and some off the overall width. I reckon the chain alignment is still out by 6-8mm though. I also bought an rgv caliper an hanger from Barney on here which came today. But then this side problems are the disc being to close to the caliper by a lot. So I think I'll be taking some of the wheel on the disc face and some off the hanger who knows yet. Managed to get the front discs sorted managed to find out that a gs500 runs all the dimensions and offsets I need to run on the street triple forks and calipers with the bandit wheel so at least the front end is nearly sorted. Just got to try and drill the Speedo drive out from 19mm to 22mm now .

Made some real progress last week or so. Front an rear wheels fitted. New discs all calipers lined up. So now yokes back out to be powder coated. Then fit all back up. Got my rearsets to fit with pipes on. So not long now got to get brake line for rear and think about what clocks to go with. Will follow with some pics when get yokes back as it's all apart again so looks as though I've gone backwards

So had the yokes back so managed to get front end all built up now got the ignition barrel on too. Rear caliper painted up too so just got to get a brake line an a reservoir sorted for that. Starting to see the the end now not that it is the end mind. Once I've got it done an been to classic TT on it this year it's time to come apart again an get paintwork and engine done

So getting closer now only few last jobs. Clocks being main one but they are nearly done. Picture makes it look mint but panels an wheels all need Refurb. But that will have to wait until winter as go to the isle man classic on it in August.
