Hi Guys, having a little trouble setting up YPVS cables , the Haynes manual states that you set the cables up with the servo set at its switch on position, only problem is if I do this the cables don't have enough adjustment, so I figured as it was set up with a zeeltronic ignition that it starts at its idle position after the cycle movements and that it's maximum position should be set to the 4mm hole and slot position this is the servo set at max position on the YPVS cable This is the servo position at max movement, This is where the servo rests at switch on And I have set the valve like this at switch on and Like this at it's maximum movement which is different from the manual but looks like it's going the right way when I rev the motor.. Any comments welcome please This is with the decals fitted to the left hand side now, a nightmare to do and the new original style seat fitted, looks a lot better.

I can check for you in the morning, have a PCDI-10VT zeel on my 4l0 hybrid. If it rotates counter clockwise when revving with high rev the 4mm hole is aligned you got it right.

Adjust the PV cables so that Both! are equal.. as in; there is equal adjustment left on the screw in things. Don't make the cables too tight, that just causes excess wear. THEN use yer handheld Zeel gizmo to set the valves at what ..you ..decide are the best Full closed and Full open points.

Yep, my zeel starts off at the closed position unlike the OEM controllers that return to the closed position when the bike starts. As mentioned earlier you can adjust the opening with either the handheld programmer or a laptop. Never bothered with mine, just use the default setting. Cheers.

Thanks guys, as you can see my cables are adjusted pretty even the way I have it, relieved to know that it's ok as is.. not got the hand help programmer as I bought the bike with the zeel fitted. Cheers Dono
