Hi, got the engine completely stripped and ready to order new bearings. Do I need to order C3 bearings or just standard or does it not matter. Also do the oil seals need to be double lip or standard. Has anyone got a definitive list of what they should be as there seems to be some confusion over which should be fitted or is it just a matter of preference.

I just used Koyo or SKF bearings look on ebay each bearing will have an id number on it search for that then pick a decent make, I only struggled with the two needle roller bearings and had to buy genuine Yamaha ones but the others were a lot cheaper on ebay. I just bought a seal kit from ebay to.

The needles are a yam spec so no one else does them have to be bought from Yamaha
