1gu should be an unrestricted 21hp bike

how come the seller didn't know? The Swiss bike is listed on the docs as 15.5KW there are at least 4 extra features/restrictions in the exhaust to fight their noise problem but haven't had them on the dyno to see what is gained by removing each one, it wont be a lot. It's much heavier than the older exhaust(even without the end-can). If you look on the hanger it is stamped 1GX.

thanks for the reply museumman, do you have any info on the 1GU such as carb needle position and main jet size, as I bought the bike with a nikkon pipe on I also got the standard pipe with it which I have now fitted, and I'm wondering if the jetting or needle position may have been altered to suit the nikkon I asked the seller but he says he took it to a garage to be fitted and he is unsure what they did

This is the main pipe looking back down it, there is normally a nozzle spot welded in there. I removed mine.

It's a little bit louder and gains about 500 RPM top end with the baffle tube also adjusted (drilled or cut down) for better gas escape.
