Hey Guys, I have a 1985 DT125LC, Had it for about 6months now and not done much running about on it as Baltic up here in Haggis . Country and Bike too Nice to use when there's Salt around? At weekend pulled Bike out of Garage to have a look at and of course the Batteries Flat! No Surprise there eh!! So take a look at manual and it says should be 6Volt?? Mine seams to be 12volt and all Bulbs 12volt?? So have I got a European Bike???

Probably RD generator, Flywheel and CDI fitted or possibly full RD engine, these are 12 volts where as the D.T. is 6 volts.

I have a mk1 dt125lc and that is a 6volt bike. 10v frame number.
I also have a mk2 dt125lc, drum front brake that is a 12volt system.
Also a mk3 dt125lc disk front brake thats a 12volt system.
Check what frame number starts with and that might help work out what is going on.

As above, it looks like you've got a MK2 and are referring to the MK1 manual.

mk1 6v the rest 12v as said above
