Considering skimming my flywheel bet don't know how much to take off. Anyone tried it and does it make any difference to performance or not worth the bother. Does anyone know the dimensions of the flywheel after skimming.

I always run a lightened flywheel on my 2t's.I think 3mm off the outside and men off the front face would be conservative.make sure you scribe your timing mark fully and radius all corners

Will definitely be getting one of these from Norbo soon. Just for the extra throttle response it will be worth every penny.

Standard flywheels are balanced to perfection for a reason !!! Will give slightly quicker acceleration ' but cause more damage in the long run, unless balanced yet again. Bit like driving a car with a front wheel out of balance, shakes the car like mad, you will be doing the same to your crank etc

I have a 1GM motor in mine with a lighted flywheel and it measures 114mm diameter and 44mm from front face to back edge

Does it feel as if the engine vibrates any more than a standard flywheel?
