I'm not looking for a genuine one is yb5l-b ok to use I put it in on eBay search and comes up as mk1 will they be the same thanks

Yamaha 235 82110 79 is the part number for a mk1 battery, both are for 12n53b Yuasa battery so both models use the same battery.Use battery search on Yuasa site and it brings up YB5L-B for RD125LC. www.yuasa.co.uk/ |
