Got a ypvs motor in my lc & the routing of the clutch cable bugs me, has anyone fitted a hydraulic clutch to one or found a different way to route the cable. I prefer the feel of a cable clutch but just think it looks crap going round the engine

I fitted an R6 (?) oem Yama cable. I too thought it was odd fitting at first but a bit of thought and it fits quite well. It also allows a threaded connection at the engine case Far more rigid/rewliable and gives a secondary adjustment point. Well worth the added trouble on install. This all give a V nice light clutch action. One could do Far worse.

Try a 1ua clutch cable from an f2.
It has a 90 degree bend at the lever so goes down the left of the headstock instead of the right and is shorter.
I know nikfubar (rip) had a hydraulic and he said it was heavier than the cable and you still have a line going to it
