does any one sell mph clocks and is it a straight forward swop or do i have to used a different sped cable or something ?

welcome mate as far as im aware its a straight swop over as for buying them ebays ur best bet they do come up now and again,i have also seen nos stock just the speedo which can be swopped straight over for sale in the past but not cheap best of luck.

You could maybe just change the clock face if it's only speed issue, but it does involve a bit of stripping speedo down to fit, but avoid the stickers! as in my opinion they C**P There's a seller on Ebay who can do most of the faces like genuine items...

when i got my mk1 it had those exact same clocks with the yellow dial and was fine up until they went haywire and packed up the replacement ones i got of ebay dont have the yellow dial, not sure of the differences in the two but personally i like the look of the ones with the yellow dial better.

The Yellow dials appeared on the 1984 bikes with the new colours. They weren't on the Candy Blue or the White with Blue stripe bikes.
