hi lads, I am trying to get insurance on a car but have no no claims bonus on a car as only got full no claims on the van. Any suggestions on who to use or get around this? Got a quote and it was ridicously high at £450 third party only on a vw passat, diesel

i have a Civic Type R which is fookin dear on insurance, the company that halved my quote was Greenlight insurance, they do specialise in performance stuff but worth a call i reckon.

This may seem really bizarre but try getting a pully comp quote, some companies don't do third party insurance, especially the bigger ones, which may turn out to be the cheaper ones! Try confused.com!
Good luck

Try direct line when i passed my car test a few year ago they let me use my bike no claims on the car.I'm now in the weird situation of having a car license 3 years but with 6 years protected no claims lol. Someone should be able to sort you out as i have just bought a tranny and they let me swap my car no claims onto the van so vice versa should be ok?

Try Gocompare.com - they got some ridiculously low quotes for me.
