They have a quick coat of etch primer to stop them rusting and so your painter will not have to strip them back as they need this type of primer i have been told . any way i will try my best top start getting them out next wee. My Currier pick up point is my local newsagent so i cant take down all the tanks as they will fill the shop but i will do 3 a day next week until every one gets them

Thanks 7 years in the making to finely getting them made and to me . you think its taken a long time to get them you have no idea how long .but im well pleased with them and i payed extra money for a double layed box and bubble wrap on each tank to that was worth the extra to get them without a mark on them so nice i think i will post them out in the boxes they come on in .

That's great news for a lot of people, well done Norbo Just a thought, what's the interior finish on the steel ?, is it bare steel or has it had some treatment to help prevent rust starting ?. I'm not sure what treatment tanks have from the factory but they certainly have some kind of treatment that gives a shiny resistant finish ?.

I dunno lol

Put some POR 15 tank liner in from new and before you get it painted maybe

Put some POR 15 tank liner in from new and before you get it painted maybe It's an option but a slipper slope surely ? One of the problems with that is, if you get a problem with the liner once it's painted, it not a great scenario Is there a liner product that's proven to stays in now regardless of Ethanol content ?. Every tank I've ever seen that's been lined, it's been "when" not "if" it starts to come out I do know people often don't take enough care with the process (drying between stages in particular) but I've never attempted it myself.

Quite ironic how its turned out that there are so many different source's, when not too long ago they were the proverbial rocking horse shit.

In fairness to Norbo, he probably didn't have any exclusivity rights to the re-manufactured tanks.
In fact if you think about it making an exact replica of things is in fact tantermount to fraud?
Any how, I know who I'd be rather buying one off if I needed one.
Thanks for the effort Norbo.

My partner and i decoded to offer them out as the main batch have now come in and they take up a lot of space, and as we made them together and he is storing them for me and i make the same no matter who sells them this is what we decided to do.

As Jon and Tobyjugs said above, thanks for the effort Norbo, without your drive and persistence for 7yrs we wouldn't have them at at and still be fighting with each other for the rusty and dented shite on eBay.
Cheers

Thanks mate it took a lot of effort and a lot of time and a good investment to finely get them made in the end i had to take on a partner as it was to much for just me on my own, but we do what must to get the job done. It is a little frustrating when some people fined it fun go on a post selling something and say try hear instead especially when you consider the time effort and money i put in to this particular item. But thats life i guess.
