Right first time on here, please somebody help with the knowledge of differences between rd or dt 125lc, my little rd went bang on Sunday , gutted, she was whizzing along a treat until bang!it is all repairable but a fairly time consuming , I've found a dt 10v engine complete and ready to bolt in , I can see it's almost identical apart from engine cases look different, just wanted to know if cdi, etc will work , thanks in advance

I am not an expert but I believe the only difference is the porting of the barrel, so should slot straight in.

I think the gear ratios are different as well.

yes it will fit , straight swap , as stated by others gear ratio,s are different internally n externally an dt is 6volt rd 12volt , so fit rd stator as advised by others also , only thing I can add is u might need to experiment on sprocket sizes too compensate the diffrences , ..

you will need to replace the gear selector shaft, as the dt shaft is shorter and won't reach where your gear lever is.
