Yes the deeper you delve the more skeletons you find. I need a full or lower part standard airbox if anyone has one for sale. Once I have this I can start putting it back together. I needs a really top paint job its been painted in fs1e Popsicle purple but it's not a great job, some little bubbles in the graphics.

Looks like it's a decent condition one, are you wanting the full thing or just the lower half?

Cheers ...Picks welcome and have fun I would have taken it back For some reason the 125 scene has the widest range of standards when it comes to quality of 'restores' there were horror stories way back on the original 125LC forum 11 odd years ago. it's worth asking for the original size photos when they claim it's 'restored'. so you can zoom in and sometimes you can tell by the poor finishes that it's going to be a money pit. (ebay do now have a zoom option which was a big improvement) 'needs a couple of bulbs' or 'needs new battery' = needs new wiring loom 'carb needs setting up' = engine rebuild yours dont look too bad, looks like new switch gear? clocks look clean, they're normally dinged all around the edges and expensive to restore. Not a fan of the generic nuts and bolts allen bolts or jubilee clips, you can buy OEM look these days. The center stand sits too far forward, you'll have to put some welds on the frame to keep the pin straight which keeps back wheel off the ground or no point having one. If the paint flakes off the brake pedal and kick starter, get them properly restored in Olive Green plating

its popsicle purple like my fizz , its got potential , some little bubbles pin head size in graphics , brand new Gibson , i am told the motor is still running in but i have not started it , worries ....found milk instead of engine oil when i drained it ,which i am hoping is the water pump seal , looms erm interesting , fairing brackets are home made and shocking , needs a good clean a bit of paint and i need rid of that foam pod filter . Described as " new owner will not be disappointed" and i was a tad , but i got it at a fair price and i am enjoying tinkering , saves me communicating with the wife ! Will visit parts shop tonite ....
