Jamie did it as an experiment to see how the bike went...only a bez up road say 1/8th mile to see how it sounded...lot better tbh and knew i needed to up jet but only a short blast and couldn't see point mate..no harm done....well apart from it wheelies on the throttle...lol that's how you do a chop mate how else are you gonna work out the correct set up with out riding it? short sharp test runs are OK to get the perfect set up. as for colour i call it shit brown, (as mellow says colours in Haynes), mid (shit colour) brown with minimal deposits all over the plug, any other colours you should re-jet or reset (1/4 of a turn at a time) the air screw. hope this helps.........

though plug chops were done wot in third gear and wot 4th gear and hold wot in 4th gear upto 2 minutes then pull clutch lever in and at the same time flick kill switch to off when you have done that plug chop to see the colour of the burn change jetting if needed then when thats right go wot in 5th gear and wot in 6th gear and hold it for a couple if minutes then pull clutch lever in and flick the kill switch to off then look at the burn of the spark plug ie under full beam on head lamp black is too rich
