:-[i re took my cbt test again today at age 26,i did the same training course/test when i was 16 with ease but this time i found it soooooo strict it was atcualy dificult out of 4 of us i was the only one that met the required standard the other 3 have got to re take it next week either im hopless or its getting stricter, either way im realiy going to struggle with my d.a.s by the looks of it. the bikes we used were 57 plate yamaha ybr125s (4 stroke and probaly the slowest 125 ive ever been on)

The reason is as follows.................. its the same procedure for keeping ur bike upright when goin very slowly ie approaching traffic lights that are about to change instead of stoppin n puttin foot down u apply rear brake which "pulls"/ keeps the bike upright ;D balance of rear brake/clutch/throttle

what's CBT? ;D (yes i do know what it is) i did my test when it was part one (off road course) and part two (on road with examiner on roadside). passed both first time (and my car test first time too ) that was back in the 80's (i think it was the dark ages).

i found u turns and figure of 8s relatively easy.just clutch controll and rear break,my weakness was positioning etc,i think im too used to driving long wheel based vans etc,we was a hopless bunch, one lady was 85 years old and not too sharp and one girl was 19 with no road or bike experiance. the poor instructor must have smoked 40 fags trying to teach such a mixed bunch lol

glad its not just me who had trouble with the cbt - never rode a bike in me life. examiner said i was just to uncoordinated for a bike which really **issed me iff and made me want to pass it more. will go for it again when i have the free cash as it is so expensive now.
