Middle Blue one I've owned for 11 years now, has been my keeper all this time as other bikes have come and gone and not bettered it.
It was registered in 1989 by the Yamaha dealer's son after it sat around in the showroom all those years, he only used it for 1 year and done 6.5k kilometres. I've only done a couple of hundred miles, the crank seals finally went after it got temporarily stored in a bloody shipping container.
The other Blue one I've just re-commissioned, stripped it right down for cleaning and re-lubes, worked through the night twice and just doing some fine tuning/ detailing today and small test rides up the lane clearing it out.. It's done 9k kilometres and still has the factory Dunlop F16 on the front and factory sprockets. Bought from the one owner from new who is 49 years old. Rides and sounds like it's done less miles.
The White one has done 25k kilometres. Picked it up last summer, re-commisioned this winter and like the others is still original with the factory paint on the swing arm and exhaust. Also rides like a bike with less miles. Did a good job with re-commision as it's not needed any adjustments after riding. Not one loose bolt
