MK1/MK2 Headlight body difference?

Hello,
Is the MK1 headlight body assembly (black shell) the same as the MK2?
I was given a MK1 body and when I went to fit it wouldn’t fit because hit was hitting against the horn bracket fixing.
As it was a tatty, I cut a piece out of the back out to make it fit
Part numbers are shown as the same
Any thoughts?

They're the same part number. Only the bolts are different (Olive Mk1 Chrome on MK2)

Have you got your wheels on? When the frame is on the bench it does seem that the headlamp is the wrong angle at hits the horn bracket, when wheels are on and you line it up it's ok.
