Mine needs the float bowls tapping after it's been stood more than a few days. I put it down to the ethernol evaporating and leaving the float valves to dry out.
everything inside my carbs is new, and i never solved it.
just give each side a tap before turning the tap to prime then if no leaks go to "on"
modern fuel is not designed for carbs, it's for injection systems

Seems to help using a separate bike stand to get it vertical.

No ethenol in premium fuels, so use v power or BP ultimate.

Sticking float. Remove bowl clean and restore

that's not the case!
new floats, new pins, new valves, ultrasonically cleaned carbs!
there is nothing left!
however, i have just found the cure. go into the garage everyday and turn the tap to prime, then back to on. Just never let the float bowls dry out, that's when they stick.
