Why is it madness ? They are worth 1k and one of the few parts that you can't buy as pattern parts so sellers market , you can buy dented and damaged 400e pipes for £3-400 but nice pipes are rare and saves all the hassle in repairing them, might have a bid myself on them.

If I see any other overpriced second hand bits for rivet counters, I'll post them up Enough ££s there for a set of kennys pipes and the remainder will go a fair way for a motor rebuild.........

Why would you want a pair of Kennys pipes on standard 400e when you have to remove the main stand alter the side stand bracket and if you get too close to the rear end they'll have your eye out .

Because they could be £500ish cheaper and work better? Don't miss a centre stand any more, most modern shit is minus one. But there are other pipes, even ones keeping the centre stand, at half of the projected top price of these 2r9 pipes. Its a shame that the stupidly high prices being asked and often obtained have priced some enthusiasts out of the equation, but I dare say a few people have made a not inconsiderable amount of dosh...
Now if its cylinders, I can understand a high price......no option......

IM massively against sellers putting high prices on even mega rare parts, but when the item starts at 99p as these pipes did then the buyers set the price. Personally i'd rather see this happen than they get sold on a forum for mates rates only for some lowlife to then cash in by selling them on ebay at a premium as has happened on here so many times.

I'd pay a grand for them, I'll bet in 5 years time they will be two grand, if you can't get them and you have a stock 400e can't see what else you could do.

The winning bidder left feedback so it looks like a genuine, happy buyer.

3 bidders all willing to pay over £800, with the final bid at nearly £1000, these parts are in serious demand, try and find another set, again anything 2 stroke related is big big money Ten years ago these were being thrown away, or left rotting in damp sheds, how times are a changing!!
