Thinking of selling my hybrid LC. Why, just don't ride it at all, I have two other bikes, one being a Aprilia RS250 for my two-stroke kicks
So looking for opinions on a reasonable valuation
This bike is has had a ground up rebuild with all receipts for every part bought. most of which are new parts.
I have owned this bike since 1989 and did a extensive restoration 4 years ago, with some subtle dates over a standard LC, but I have probably only ridden it 3 times since, just don't have the time, so it sits in the garage, gets wheeled out and started, cleaned and put away. I would say I have done less than 100 miles on it.
So spec of bike.
• TZR front forks and front wheel, forks fully rebuilt with new internals with Hagon springs.
• TZR rear wheel fitted to LC swingarm, so it has a rear disc brake conversion, work carried out by NK racing for the conversion, using a HRC rear master cylinder
• Both standard TZR calipers fully rebuilt and powder coated silver, with Brembo front disc and standard TZR rear disc, with new pads
• HEL brakes hoses, with TZR master cylinder
• Wheels powder coated satin black.
• New Bridgestone BT45’s
• New Hagon rear shock
• Motor fully rebuilt by Ron Fahron, with a 275 conversion and a street tune
• Casings and barrels powder coated satin
• Allspeeds genuine original large can type, bought these back in the day.
• Uncut rear mudguard
• Professional paintwork is metallic silver and grey
• New Renthal chain and sprockets
• Carbs ultrasonically cleaned with all new internals
Lots of brand new genuine yam parts including
• Brand new genuine clock casings with custom faces
• Brand new genuine headlight casingBrand new indicators
• Brand new genuine radiator shroud
• Brand new genuine loom
• Brand new footrests and gear/brake levers
• Lots of new genuine smaller items to much to list individually
• All bolts stainless allen throughout.
So a well sorted LC, as I said I bought this in 1989 to turn into a racer, but due to injuries it never got to the track. It does not have matching frame and engine numbers and was like this when I bought it, I think it was an ex racer anyway.
This is a big decision as lots of time, effort and money gone into this project.
