“You must be mistaken Officer, there’s no way you clocked me at 85mph- this LC is restricted to 12bhp.”The snake is out...

It always makes me laugh when people call the restriction "A washer" my MTX 50 was a bast*rd as the expansion pipe had to be cut in two places to remove the "washer" and rewelded. The welder in our local garage was an absolute artist, the seams he made looked better than factory.
the smaller pipe should get a little bit more low down torque iirc. Is that a 12A pipe or 46W?

I have't looked yet. I suspect its a 12a as it's a UK bike. Back in the day I had an Allspeed etc, yet I did switch every now and then back to the 12A (restrictor out) exhaust due to the ride ability- better bottom end and midrange without the flat spot. Whats the difference between the 12A and 46W- alloy can, baffles- down pipe diameter?

I’m lucky- as the cigar exhaust is in good nick with no dents and original paint. I suspect it was ripped off for an Allspeed Micron etc and has sat around for 30 years in the back of a dry garage.
