"A" plate 1984 MK1 - Help (3. Bikini Fairing)

Guys

Problem 3 I am trying to understand is whether my 1984 registered RD125 was originally sold with a fairing. Was there a run of these without the fairing, I know this may be a stupid question but I am seeing many with and without and am trying to understand if this was a purchase option or a choice. And lastly if there was an unfaired option do I need to have a different healight assembly.

I'm not aware of a Mk1 model sold from new without the faring, certainly not in the UK.

Most bikes were crashed and the fairing trashed in the process

only the 13w model was sold as far as i know, with out belly pan and fairing.
