Hi , on starting up my 125lc from cold with no choke at all, its been reving to about 4000 rpm, if i wind the throttle stop screw out it drops the rpm, but as it warms up i need to turn throttle screw almost total in to make it tick over. standard everthing apart from reeds. thanks for your help

Sounds like you have an air leak on the induction side or possibly left hand crank seal has gone ?.

yes mate thats what i was thinking, engine in a fresh build, but i guess i could be a seal. ill do a pressure test on it

its very strange , when its warm its as if you have pulled the choke out. it seems very rich, but its totally standard, jetting , exhaust etc !
