i just picked up a 84 mk1 with carbon reeds, allspeed and aftermarket piston.. it runs and all that ok, but am more adept at big bore bikes on roads that are not policed..
the bike is nice..has L plates, and i really wanna change the renthal bar and put shorty adjustable levers, and assuredly loose the dinner plate front disc... am compertent as a mechanic.. but what disc and where do you get the little levers...what model should i look for as i am finding nothing.. advice on what bar, stock leaves me cold but straight drag bars were awesome on my 400/4 XJR..
thanksin advance

Its been in the hands of a 17yr old for at least part of its life, and them stockers are fit for the dumpster.. I put them on upside down, you know, just to try, and one side hit the top yoke.. the other had half an inch of clearance. I got a renthal dirt bar with the bike, but it was a full on windsock.. so I got a nice gold superbike bar, which goes nicely with the candy blue, and some bar end mirrors to finish it off. Taxing it tomorrow.. It also comes with a ahem, spare engine, in parts.. that I may well build up in the winter time, if the mrs lets me bring it inside.. she sure isnt happy that I spend a few hours in the garage getting it ready to roll..
