Hi, just in the process of a rebuild of the mrs rd125 and struggling to find some decent tyres, what do you guys recommend or use? Ideally like something a little fatter if poss. What's the widest rear that will fit? Have tried Norbo but he's out of stock at minute . Thanks in advance

Pretty sure the Mk2 has the same wheels as the early TZR125 like I have (18in rear, 16in front) ?. I'm running Metzeler ME22's on mine (100/90-18 & 90/90-16). I ride the bike pretty hard and never had any probs in the dry. Not sure if they are still available new anymore ?. I don't bugger around with tyre sizes on the smaller bikes, nearly always just mucks the handling up

Michelin Pilot Sporty 18 x 100/90 rear 16 x 90/90 front They look nice, but found the rear became quite sensitive to lines in the road, maybe because it's a light bike, I should try them on another of my other bikes before judging properly.
