Tried to get an insurance quote earlier today for an MT09 Tracer on ebikeinsure web site. Asked for reg number which I don't have as it would be a new reg. Rang their customer support to be told they need the reg number to quote, but it isn't registered yet as I am thinking about getting one. Was told I would have to buy the bike get it registered then ring them with the reg number to get a quote, wtf!! Asked what if for some reason or another couldn't get or afford insurance what then, meet with silence.
Anyway have sent an email off, so will see what comes back.

-ankers, -uck them off.  They probably need a reg number for their computer to issue a quote, they obviously cant see the catch 22 situation. |

I got a quote last year for my 17 year old daughter . Now that's a quote you don't want to hear . so I will have to see what it is this year way to much last year

If you must use them, just get a quote on a reg number from any MT09 Tracer ?. I would never insure with them anyway, get a problem and you are f*cked  A friend of mine had insurance with them and they wrote to him saying that he hadn't declared an accident he'd previously had, and that he needed to pay a higher premium. He tried repeatedly to tell them he hadn't ever been in any accident in his life, so they had made a mistake. They then told him that he had to "prove" that he hadn't been in an accident (how do you prove that ?). Anyway, without further warning they just teminated his insurance, leaving him without insurance and the only option but to now delcare to future insurance he'd previously had insurance cancelled  I know of other's who have been ok until they loose documents you've sent them etc. They might be cheap sometimes but as a rule you get what you pay for  |

I wrote my first Multistrada off while insured by them and they were great, paid out £12500 no questions asked and within 2 weeks, however, when I changed address 4 weeks after starting a different policy with them they charged 50% admin to change (£250) so and cancelled, I will never ever even ask them to quote, w#*#ers.

If you must use them, just get a quote on a reg number from any MT09 Tracer ? Did that, quote was in the ball park, but as they haven't even responded to my email query certainly won't be using them |

Try MCE they did me a good deal on my mt07
