Usually I am not one for venting my problems with suppliers but has anyone had dealing with the above website?
I ordered two parts (which were unobtainable everywhere else) a month ago, delivery promised in 10 days, never arrived, chased by email and got told were waiting for news from Yamaha, after a month got fed up and asked for money back with no response, now opened a paypal dispute but still no reaction after 5 days.
Is this typical of their service or have I just been unlucky.

If bad service and lack of communication followed by sheer incompetence is what your after then order away!!

Thanks for all the feedback, sounds like I am getting their regular service!
Reason I ordered the parts for my 125LC from them was the chainguard and fairing bracket were out of stock on all other websites and from Yamaha it was a discontinued part....so when they say they are awaiting delivery date from Yamaha they could be a while....
Don't say its in stock when you haven't got it....simples!
Have escalated the paypal claim so should get refunded by the end of the month, or receive my parts....

I have had 2 oil tank clevis pins (DTMX ones) on back order fron Suttons since 'forever'! (must be approaching at least a year) An yeah, their comms are a bit sh*t! Never had anything on back order with them before, but it would certainly make me think again about using them. In the same breath, i have a multitude of parts for the lc on back order with Fowlers. They have sent the order out with a full pick list but only half the parts and no explanation. At the moment that is ranking the same for comms imo

To be honest i've bought loads of stuff from them and never had a problem and it's usually arrived very quickly, but the stuff ive always got is mainly bolts etc.

I agree....I only ordered from them as they claimed on the website the items were in stock as I had already checked Fowlers and they were listed as no longer available.

Ive used suttons a few times for Aprilia stuff and they have been really good. They are sometimes a bit slow telling you they dont have stuff in stock even if its listed as in stock on there website.
I've had a real nightmare with Folwers over the last few weeks as they have changed stock ordering software and its been awful. Its ok if you phone them but I wouldnt web order from them again for a while.

mate, i had the same sort of problem with them, ordered a crank, waited 6 weeks and heard nothing. after phoning them i was told its no longer available. it then took nearly another 2 weeks and 3 phone calls for them to refund the £300. not good !

Ive used them in the past , slow but arrived , recently placed an order back in January told my parts would arrive end of the week , was still chasing them last week , kept getting told they where coming from different places every time I phoned , they eventually said I could have a refund an I still had to chase that , summary = hit n miss company..IMHO..
