After only 18 months by battery has given up the ghost (standard type battery) I see on the bay you can get at a premium a lithium battery ; has anyone bought one of these and are they worth twice the price of a standard battery |

I only every buy Yuasa or Motobatt AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) and they last for many years. What you can't do with a standard type battery is leave it for months without charging, they will just die  |

motobatt all the way. got them on both my rd's and my cheap Chinese import. never had a problem and will never go back to an acid battery now.
