don't know anything about rgv's but its probably disconnect the ign switch and jumper a couple of wires, an a scoosh of easystart..
I'v bought a couple of bikes from them and don't have any complaints, all as described.. I know that i'll have to replace all the chassis bearings and rebuild the forks and brakes with new seals and stuff..
I did see that advert a couple of hours ago and thought i might toss in a cheeky bid but i'v got to get rid of a couple before i get anything else..

It's here because the same guys once claimed they had a bike running on easy start (as they nearly always do)...and it had NO carbs!!

It beggars belief doesn't it. I really must put my box of crap in the corner of me garage on there, got to be £10k. Andy.

So are they advertising a gsx1100 or a tzr250
Those discs are defo not RZ 250
If you’re going to advertise something, at least get what is being described correct

I've known those guys for about 30yrs, certainly well before they moved to where they are now and they must have been there over 25yrs.
If you go there and you know exactly what to look for and you can bargain based on your experience and what you see, then you'll get what you expect. But if you go there not knowing what you're looking at and you're daft enough to buy a lash-up for a high price, then they'll happily sell you one.

Yes me too I’ve bought several bikes from them over the years, always found them ok

I've bought 2 from them and as I expected something that had been abandoned for years and needed a total strip down I wasn't disappointed 😁
The front brakes reference on that tzr is down to it having twin discs
Can only be 88 rz250 3hm1 or 3xc r1-z250

They are a business pure and simple, whether we like it or not they know the market they know most buyers will impulse buy and they fill the demand. We may not like it and whilst people still buy from them, they don’t care what a small group think. If the market didn’t stand it they wouldn’t be in business.

There should be some sort of cooling off period after the auction ends maybe. I've been to car auctions and you get 24hrs to reject it.

Sound like typical rip off stealers ! Not somewhere I’d be looking at making a purchase that’s for sure !

Back when I was a youth they were known as DK Breakers, that’s what they did and they’ve kept the same mentality if you ask me. If you buy a bike from a breakers then you should know what you’re buying.

As Veg said, if you know your bikes and spec you might get a good project, but your bidding against others that may not have a clue and there going to end up with a bitsa for top money.

I suppose the usual pin holes are better than those in a sieve 😂, why can’t some folk just Chuck their scrap in a skip rather than littering eBay with it , lol..
