Just bought a set of Tokico 6pots off fleabay descibed as rebuilt yadda yadda with usable road pads. All the pics looked mint so for £80 all in I went for it.
Turned up today covered in white fur mould and soaked in brake fluid rendering the pads useless.
By rebuild I think they just swapped out the bolts as looking at the pistons they are filthy dirty!
Grrrrr I could leave negative feedback but whats the point! Ebay you takes your chance and all that. and if club 200 mph is on here......shame on you!
Rant over!

Yep, open up a dispute case and send em back for a full refund including all postage.
It's the seller's responsibility for postage both ways if an item is to be returned because it's faulty or not as described.

Leaving negative feedback might make another potential buyer look elsewhere ..

They are obviously not the ones that were shown in the advert. Get on to ebay and show them some pics of the ones that arrived.

Did mine on my K1 GSXR1000 a little while ago, wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be . With 13 seals per caliper , it's not for the faint hearted but with everything cleaned up and all new genuine seals fitted they work like new again

Take a picture of the delivered item and start by saying Hi I think you may have boxed up the wrong item. This is your picture of the sold item and this is what has been delivered. I did the same when I just bought a nearly new Vespa rear shock. What was sent out looked like it had been in the sea for 20 years. I did the above and the guy sent out the "right" one and told me to keep the other. Quick paint and a new sticker back on eBay £25 thanks very much. All this was done via message first. I generally find that if you message first eBay are aware of a potential issue and will monitor it. Go on fire a message back to the fecker you have some rights. If he won't answer you then open a dispute and PayPal will hold the funds so he can't spend it. But act fast else he will say you are a chancer.

Had a problem with a set of calipers not so long since, buyer forgot to drain all the brake fluid out so arrived in a right state, took pictures and got a quote to get them powder coated and new pads plus another £20 discount for the hassle and contacted seller, no hassles and an immediate refund, well happy, give it a go you've nothing to lose except the time it takes to do it, good luck !!
