Hi folks can anyone help me here I'm building up a rd125lc mk1 10w first registered sept 1982 , can anybody tell me if the engine crank cases should be painted satin black. At the moment the covers and the cylinder head are the only black bits the cases and barrel are bare Alli the cases are 10w but are not original because the numbers don't match I've been told the early ones were black is this true? If so I've got some painting to do before I fit the motor . Thanks your help would be welcome . Craig.
