I have been looking to replace my faded rear shock with something a bit firmer/newer.
I have a TZR one and a 350 lc both new but don't fit, the TZR one is tiny and the 350 Lc one is about 15mm shorter than the standard LC One.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what fits straight in.

I have heard that the shorter distance doesn't make much of a difference have you tried using it ?

No, I have not tried it yet, I may try looking further into this myself. I can't believe no one else has tried anything other than the standard shock.

with replacement shocks its trial and error, shocks of the same lenth may have a firmer or softer spring and dampening.
I had bushes made for a spare shock I had laying about to make it fit. but its really firm
wilburs and hagon will make you a shock. but expect to pay big money

What bike is this for? I've just taken the shock out of my tzr125rr and will have no use for it as I'm putting in a cbr600rr shock. If it may be of interest I can get photos and measurements.

The tzr one will be no good as its from a rising rate shock so will be soft as hell on a mono shock bike . The lc one will be quight hard on a light 125 but the lowering of the suspension may put the handling out unless you drop the forks threw 10mm to compensate but I don't see why you couldn't give the 350lc one a go . its wider but may still fit in there.

These are the 3 rear shocks I had, the TZR 125 is on the left, 250/350 LC in the middle and the 125 LC on the right.

Thought i'd read somewhere about fz600 or fazer rear shock being used but can't find any reference or sizes of one  |

A fazer is good for a YPVS that I do know as ive got one fitted . you only need a small mod to make them fit
