I remember the site of holed Pistons on my RS125!! as daft 17year old way back in the early 80's!! Every weekend I'd buy something else to try in make it go faster! Boysen reeds, Micron Expansion, KN Filter etc Did couple Holed Pistons before I got it right!! Those were the days!!!

Thanks for the comments people.
I have started doing a bit on it today, cleaned the rear wheel, re fitted the swing arm and shock and centre stand.
Its going away this week to have the side stand bracket sorted out then a brand new stand will be going on.

I have a spare barrell that appears to have a .25 piston in. Would need a hone but plenty rebores left in it  |

When I took the disc off one of the bolts has a 14 mm head and I have left the bugger even though its making my teeth itch.

Well that's my 125 run in now, nearly 200 miles on it since the re build. Me and Jimmy had a great run out over the bank holiday weekend over to Rothbury and then seahouses in glorious weather, the only mishap was my horn falling off Me taking a picture of Jimmy taking a picture of paul about to try my bike out.  |
