Had a leak on the bike into the gearbox turning my oil to lush slush problem was my impeller shaft was badly worn so decided to make one

some peoples abilities on here make me sick! Looks good mate Alloy shaft? How will that wear in the seal do you reckon? or have you just machined the impeller and got a steel shaft?

Not sure how it will wear ill put one in this winter then run my bike in summer and have a check along the way,its all alloy from top to bottom.

Beautiful job Rob, if you do find the alloy wears, surely you could drill and tap your existing impeller to take a stainless shaft? I can see you getting more than a few requests from the lads on here...

That is very cool but I think I would have joined up the impeller parts to the center boss. that would have given more water push round the rad .

im intetested in this type of stuff it makes my day go that little faster.
I could have a look at that norbo it will just mean changing a little on the program thats all and maybe do some tests some how lol
