So now that I finally got masel another LC, I've been lookin into insurance quotes. Wtf! Are they kiddin! 3 quotes, liability only (third party). Lowest $700 (£390) highest $900 (£500). Now call me feckin crazy but is that not a bit on the high side? I'm interested to know what kinda rates people are paying in different parts of the world? I'm in Ontario Canada .....

1986 350 YPVS with 6 years no claims bonus was £72 for comprehensive cover. Quote for third party, fire & theft was about £4 more than comprehensive, and third party only was another £10 more than that. UK prices seem quite reasonable

That just shows how the markets have had to change,America and Canada are a few years in front with the claims culture thing, our time in the UK will come.

I pay £320 fully comp on my bikes, including all the breakdown cover and protected no claims. That's for my K1300S, R1, RD500, 350YPVS, 250LC, 1100 Katana and my KE125. It may seem cheap but I am an old fecker. My son paid a lot more to insure his 125.
