My mates came over the other night on YPVS hybrid and RD400 and we had a run out meeting a few more strokers(eyrey1 is on the Chesterfield Aprillia) then off to Squires,I did a few short vids.

Good work, Artie. That was a trip down memory lane... though I don't remember the Redbeck having an alfresco dining area back in t' day! LOL

How popular are two strokes over there? Looked like half the group was on them. Go anywhere here, where bike riders gather, and you are looking for the very odd one or two. Even at classic bike rallies, we have very few strokers in use. Maybe it's distances involved and comparitively high temperatures. Four strokes are generally less temperamental (put that to a bevel Ducati owner and you'dprobably get an arguement) and their performance across the course of a day is more consistent. Less fuel use and longer range? Yeah, that too.
I suspect the truth is that most of the people riding (here I mean) like to think they are going to do huge distances but very few would ride much more than 100km from home.
