Mines runs just half way most of the time, it might be your gauge or sender is a little out or your rad might not be clean through the gills

Mine runs around 1/4 mark all the time it's moving. Has it got a standard black plastic radiator guard ?. They do run warmer with the Renntec rad guards, as the air can't get through all the small holes as well .

Three bikes three different temps
I have a black plastic rad cover but i know my rad isnt the best so mine probably runs a little hotter than it should

There's loads of things that can make em run at different temps. Like you say, how free flowing the radiator is and also the entire cooling system. I've also seen quite a few where so much gasket gloop has been used on the head gasket, that it virtually blocks all the water jackets Also worth checking the condition of the water pump impeller if you've not checked it recently

Hi having noticed it go up since I put the right jet in it there i a 12a carb on it I think it should have a 195 jet in but it had a 155 now it has the 195 jet in it the temp is rising up to 3/4 of the way up the gauge I have ordered a new temp sender to see if it is that any clues what else to try
