Hi guys

I'm new to this forum thing, so please forgive me

I have bought what I think is a bitsa rd 400D. It's ok though, bit of a state, but it'll keep me busy for a while! What I'd like to know is what year the engine is.  I know you must get asked questions like this all the time, so I apologise in advance!

My engine number is IA3-102348 it has 398cc cylinders on it.  Although the pistons and bores are not too bad, I thought I'd refresh the top end, but need to know what year it is to order the right pistons etc up.

any information would be most welcome

Hi and welcome, but you do know there's an aircooled forum too, you'd probably get a quicker answer if you joined and posted on there? Just guessing as I'm not a member on there, so don't know how active it is?
