Well picked up a new battery plug and filter on way to work yesterday afternoon. Finnished at 10 last night. So thought cant wait till morning to have a look and see if anything works! So of to the garage i went. Swopped all the new bits on drained and refilled cooling system . All new 2 stroke oil. Made up a dummy tank as Lou C's is a little grotty inside at the mo! Can you beleave been stood 8yrs and she fired up 4th kick. So all cant be that bad.
All electrics work even tho the loom will need some work! Good job i make cable for a living!!! So will make up a new 1 .
Other than that im one happy bunny!!!!

Graham, thats great news, but beware of dryed out seals as you start to use/run her up a bit more.
And the loom, you mention making one up, id be happy to talk to you about throwing more than one together for possible purchase ? Would you be interested in doing that?

Hi she wont be running again now till all work is done . Was just a quick test to see if there was any serious problems.
About the loom yes a chat would be excelent if possible as i seem to have a very large quantity of blk insulation tape on mine!!!
The strip down starts tomorrow as i have a full w,end to myself as my better half is off away . So no destractions!!!!
