looks a good starting point,and with a genuine nose cone and a decent looking alspeed as a bonus,looks to be mostly there baring indicators and belly pan from what i can see,whats the engine like does it run?

I agree a great base for starting.
Ill tell ya ive put a mk2 on the rd i cant remember them been this light i get blown about a bit im 6ft and over 14stone (cough) i had a go on my mates mk1 and the bars are much better for rd holding.
But im a mk2 guy so its staying like it
For now lol

yes i agree but i really prefer the low down style of the mk2 the mk1 feels so high almost like a motocross bike
