I should have put this here I reckon, pasted from a previous thread
Hi guys
Only new to this forum and the help I have received so far has been brilliant, both from Arrow and Norbo
I only bought my first 350ypvs 3 months ago after 30 odd years of waiting (only done 26000kms) I couldn't afford one in the early 80's so had a VF400 instead (they were cheaper) U
Unfortunately after 200kms of riding the new old 350 the engine seized, no oil getting to the motor, total rebuild required, it had a rebore by the previous owner 1000 kms ago but time wise that was 3 years ago dry crank seals as well I'd say
So I really have to say Arrow's services are very much appreciated, I had ordered a refurbished pump and other bits over a month ago(pre paid for them too) from another supplier down here and after a phone call asking where they were I got the feeling that they were never going to turn up, I have probably done my dough but at least I got the crank, pistons and clutch and bearings from him
There were no pumps on ebay at least not at a price I could afford
I was able to get in contact with Arrow and after literally a couple of hours and 4 or 5 emails he had sourced a pump and had let me know it was going to be refurbished ready to be sent to me in Oz
What can I say, service or what, Arrow also advised everything he would do with the pump, really good piece of mind
I found Norbo and this site more or less by accident, I had ordered a few shall we say difficult to find parts from Norbo and again with the problems above Norbo was able to organise a complete Yamaha gasket rebuild kit within a few hours and has it on its way to me
Some say forums are a waste of time, and this only my first forum, (fifty year old novice) I would say not
There is a lot of information in here and a lot of knowledge and people aren't scared to impart it
Looking through there are lots of questions and lots of answers and people jump in to help
So to those that have Arrow and Norbo, (JonW)and any others that may help in the future a big thankyou
Regards
Howard
